Why do I attract them and where is the catch? Where is the appeal exactly?

I’m actually sure I know. I usually tend to their needs and give them what they want; which is:

Answering questions about themselves or things they are extremely knowledgeable about.
Letting them just talk.
Great head with no reciprocation.
